Law student and a social media influencer Sharmishta Panoli, who was arrested from Gurugram by Kolkata Police over alleged communal post following Operation Sindoor, has been granted interim bail by Calcutta High Court. The court has also directed the police to provide her security. Earlier, her lawyer and family said she was receiving rape and beheading threats.
The man who filed the police complaint that led to the arrest of social media influencer and law student Sharmistha Panoli has allegedly gone missing. Wajahat Khan, the complainant, has not been seen since Sunday night, according to his family, who also claim they have been receiving threatening phone col/s following Panolis arrest.
