These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website — www.lawmates.in
, its subdomains and associated mobile apps, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, email newsletters, and social media pages (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this document.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who We Are
Lawmates (“Lawmates”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an Indian online media and education organization that publishes legal news, opportunities, courses, and events.
We also operate learning initiatives and educational programs under the Lawmates brand.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Platform.
If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must consent to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Use of the Platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You shall not:

Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform’s functioning.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and any activity under your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, even if done without your knowledge, unless caused by a security breach on our end.

All articles, posts, course materials, designs, and graphics on Lawmates are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Ownership: All content created by Lawmates is owned by Lawmates unless otherwise stated.
User-Submitted Content: By submitting content (such as events, opportunities, or articles), you grant Lawmates a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, and promote it across our platforms.
By submitting any content, you represent that it is your original work or that you have the necessary rights to publish it.
You agree that Lawmates may edit, format, or moderate your submitted content for clarity or compliance, without affecting your authorship credit.
Third-Party Content: Some opportunities or advertisements are provided by external organizations. Lawmates is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of such information.
6. Advertising and Sponsored Content
Lawmates may display paid promotions, banners, or sponsored posts from educational institutions, coaching academies, or organizations.
While we vet advertisers for authenticity, Lawmates does not endorse or guarantee the claims made in such promotions. Users are advised to conduct their own due diligence before enrolling or transacting with any third party.
Lawmates is not a party to any transaction between users and advertisers and is not responsible for refunds, services, or outcomes promised by third parties.

Lawmates operates official community groups to share updates and opportunities.
By joining these groups, you agree:
To maintain decorum and refrain from posting spam, hate speech, or irrelevant content.
That group administrators reserve the right to remove members violating these rules without notice.

While we strive for accuracy and reliability, the Platform and its contents are provided on an “as is” basis.
Lawmates shall not be liable for:
