US HOUSE PASSED A BILL THAT CAN BAN TIKTOK, CEO RESPONDS:-

TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew urged users to oppose legislation that could lead to a ban of the app in the United States, warning of potential job losses and the impact on small businesses and creators who rely on the platform.

The US House of Representatives recently passed a bill that would give TikTok’s owner, ByteDance, about six months to divest its American assets or face a ban, citing national security concerns related to China.

While the bill passed with bipartisan support in the House, it faces a more uncertain path in the Senate, where some lawmakers favor a different approach to regulating foreign-owned apps that pose security risks.
